Chris Pratt And Katherine Schwarzenegger’s Family Is Expanding

Chris Pratt, 42, and Katherine Schwarzenegger, 32, are expecting a second child. First reported by People, the news may come unexpectedly. After all, the author and actor welcomed their first child quite recently – in August 2020. Apart from little Lyla Maria, Pratt has a 9-year-old son, Jack, with his ex-wife, Anna Faris. But fans know that it’s nothing unusual in the couple relationship, as it progresses rather quickly. Pratt and Schwarzenegger tied the knot in 2019 and had a very romantic wedding with family members invited. Schwarzenegger’s parents, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver were present at the ceremony. Moreover, the two constantly make sweet posts about each other on social media. Celebrating The Guardians Of The Galaxy actor’s birthday, Schwarzenegger posted a series of shared snaps on Instagram.
“Happy birthday to my love! You’re the most amazing husband, a loving father, supportive partner, hardest worker (working on your birthday!), excellent chef and so much more,” she wrote in the caption. “I am so grateful to be living life with you. I love you more than you know! Happy happy!” Pratt didn’t hold back on his significant other’s birthday, either. The actor gave his partner a ton of compliments. “You are such a wonderful wife, mother, step-mother, and life partner. I simply can’t imagine how lost I’d be without you,” he wrote, sharing his happiness to have such a great helping hand. “I’m just so grateful for the harmony you continually bring to our household. I love you so much honey.”
Children’s Privacy

While the couple is outspoken about their love for each other, the situation changes when it comes to their children. That said, Schwarzenegger and Pratt value the privacy of their daughter, and still haven’t shown her online that much. You might’ve already noticed that there are no pictures that show Lyla Maria’s face! Even the birthday posts only show her from behind, featuring her and her mom wearing matching swimsuits and playing near the water. In the caption, Schwarzenegger is cheering her daughter on as she grows into a toddler. What’s her stance on privacy? The mother discussed it in March on TODAY. “I think that one of the greatest gifts that my parents ever gave me and my siblings is the gift of privacy and having a really normal upbringing, or as normal of an upbringing as possible,” she explained.
“It’s something that’s really important to my husband and I to give to our kids and to be able to have that privacy, and not necessarily show much of them on social media.” Whatever it is, we can expect the couple to expand their little family even more in the future. In summer, Pratt said that he’d love to have more kids with the writer. Furthermore, he wants “as many [kids] as the man upstairs will provide,” the actor joked.
“We’ll do it. I’ll probably have to talk to Katherine about that but my plan is, let’s go.”
