Even at 51 years old, Jennifer Aniston still manages to maintain the classic California girl looks and athletic frame she’s been known for years. Safe to say, the actress definitely knows how to take care of herself.
Sometimes though she needs a little help from her famous friends to keep up with her fitness goals. And sometimes that help comes in the form of an unexpected luxury item.
Thoughtful Present
Aniston’s ‘Friends’ co-star Courteney Cox reportedly once gifted her a Chanel bicycle that’s worth a whopping $12,000. This happened when ‘The Morning Show’ actress told her long-time gal pal that she was thinking of taking up cycling as a form of exercise.
While we don’t know whether or not Aniston pushed through with her new fitness plan, we bet she definitely appreciated the thoughtful present from Cox.
As for the gift itself, we heard it was one of the limited-edition bicycles the designer brand produced in the late 2000s. Only 50 of them were reportedly made with 20 being available in the United States.
The bicycle featured Chanel’s signature quilted leather.
Marking a Milestone
That wasn’t the only time Cox got her bestie a thoughtful gift though. When Aniston marked her 50th birthday in 2019, the ‘Cougar Town’ star gave her a pottery wheel and some lessons.
Cox, in an interview with Extra, also revealed that the present included a ‘big, beautiful antique table’. She said that she and a few other friends pitched in together to get Aniston the simple yet well-thought-out gift.
While the gifts were understated, the birthday bash Aniston threw for her milestone birthday was not. The event was star-studded as the actress invited her other famous friends to come and celebrate with her.
Among those in attendance were veteran actress Barbra Streisand, comedian Ellen DeGeneres, musician Keith Richards, and actress Gwyneth Paltrow. People also reported that Aniston’s former husband Brad Pitt also made an appearance.
Longtime Friends
Aniston and Cox first forged their lifelong friendship on the set of the sitcom ‘Friends’ in which they starred for almost ten years. On the show, they played best friends Rachel Green and Monica Geller.
Soon, their on-screen bond spilled out into their real-life as they quickly became close on the set of ‘Friends’. In fact, Aniston once shared that Cox has been there for her through her most difficult breakups.
In turn, Cox chose her bestie to be the godmother of her daughter Coco.
