Digital creators continue to shape how millions of people consume news, entertainment, and online discussions. Reflecting that growing influence, TIME introduced its first-ever TIME100 Creators list for 2026, recognizing 100 of the most impactful online personalities.

Among those featured are Austin-based podcasters Joe Rogan and Lex Fridman, along with several creators connected to Texas who have built large audiences across platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, Spotify, and Substack.

TIME Introduces the TIME100 Creators List

TIME created the inaugural TIME100 Creators list to recognize influencers, entertainers, podcasters, and digital personalities who have changed the way online audiences engage with content. Collectively, the featured creators reach hundreds of millions of followers worldwide.

According to TIME Editor in Chief Sam Jacobs, the list highlights the growing role digital creators play in shaping information, culture, and entertainment. Although the list focuses on creators who primarily publish content in English, it includes personalities from more than a dozen countries.

TIME organized the honorees into four categories:

1. Titans
2. Entertainers
3. Phenoms
4. Catalysts

Joe Rogan Earns a Place Among TIME’s “Titans”

Austin-based podcast host Joe Rogan received recognition in the “Titans” category. TIME noted that “few podcasters possess the global influence and staying power” that Rogan has established through his long-running podcast.

The publication also referenced Rogan’s involvement during President Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign and highlighted their later disagreements over topics such as the U.S.-Iran war. TIME also pointed to policy developments connected to Rogan’s interests, including the Trump administration’s executive order supporting ibogaine research.

Several creators with Texas connections joined Rogan in the “Titans” category:

– Alan Chikin Chow, a Dallas native raised in Plano, whose YouTube channel “Alan’s Universe” has more than 101 million subscribers.
– Alix Earle, a lifestyle creator and entrepreneur who spent time in Houston during her relationship with Texans wide receiver Braxton Berrios.
– Quenlin Blackwell, born in Dallas and known for the YouTube series “Feeding Starving Celebrities,” where celebrities promote upcoming projects.
– Dude Perfect, the popular trick-shot group founded by former Texas A&M roommates.
– Wisdom Kaye, the influential menswear creator once described by Vogue as the “best-dressed guy on TikTok.”
