Josh Duhamel has engaged once again. The actor, who has a child with Fergie, proposed to former Miss World America Audra Mari – the couple posted the happy update on their Instagram pages.

Actor Josh Duhamel has just announced that he’s engaged. The celeb has been with former Miss World America Audra Mari for years now. Both Duhamel and Mari revealed the lovely news on Instagram pages – their photos include the future groom holding up a handwritten note. “Audra Diane Mari, will you marry me?” the note said. “It’s on!!” the actor wrote in the caption. “She found a message in a bottle that washed ashore and said YES!!” Of course, the announcement was met with countless congratulations. Duhamel’s ex-wife Fergie, mother of their 8-year-old son Axl Jack Duhamel, joined the Josh&Audra team. “Congrats!!!” she wrote in the comments, followed by six green heart emojis.
Mari was Miss North Dakota USA in 2014, as well as Miss World America in 2016. Later, she represented the U.S. at the Miss World pageant. Apart from her highly successful appearances, the star became a runner-up in the Miss Teen USA and Miss USA pageants. She was representing the state of North Dakota at the shows. Mari and Duhamel confirmed their relationship in October 2019. The couple was almost forced to – back then, paparazzi caught them kissing in Toronto airport. Just a month later, the actor and Fergie finalized their divorce. Ex-lovers, whose marriage lasted for eight years, split in 2017 and filed for divorce in 2019.
On The Way To Build A Family

Although Duhamel is happily in love with Mari now, not everyone knows that he dated actress Eiza González for several months. Their relationship happened in 2018 and seemed unsuccessful – both don’t mention each other in public or the media spaces. Yet, it inspired the actor to build a family. On Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, he explained that he wanted more kids. “I’m not 30 years old anymore. I’m 45. I want to have more kids,” Duhamel said, “in the next few years. So it’s more about finding someone young enough to have kids?” The actor was determined to seek someone stable for the role of his partner.
“It’s not as if I am out there trying to just f–k anything. I want to find a girl that I can be with and have a family with,” he continued. Thankfully, his relationship with Fergie is still benefiting both parties. “Because Fergie and I have a great relationship. I love that girl and I always will. Unfortunately, we didn’t work, but I will always have her back and she is the mother of my baby,” Duhamel stated. As for the ideal relationship, the celebrity loves chasing and wants an active partner. “I like the action, I like the chase, I like all that stuff. I think it’s genetic, I think it’s primal for us to have that,” he said.
“There’s certain people that you see and you just want. It’s not always the most beautiful person, people have, there’s something that happens, and often times, those people that you have that for, don’t have it for you.” Looks like Mari is perfect for the 49-year-old actor!
