It seems that actress Lindsay Lohan has found the one for her. That’s right! The former child star announced that she recently became engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Bader Shammas.

Last Sunday, on social media, actress Lindsay Lohan announced her engagement to her boyfriend, Bader Shammas. The 35-year-old former child star took to both Instagram and Twitter to share the news. In both posts, she shared a photo of her and Shammas embracing, complete with Lohan’s new sparkling diamond engagement ring.
“My love. My life. My family. My future,” the Mean Girls actress captioned both posts. For those who don’t know, Shammas works for Credit Suisse’s International Wealth Management division as an assistant vice president, according to his LinkedIn profile. Meanwhile, Shammas and Lohan reportedly first met in Dubai, where they both currently live. Since they met, two years ago, the pair has started dating and fallen in love. The pair are even rumored to show up on The Real Housewives of Dubai, which premiers next year.
As you might imagine, many fans and family members are incredibly excited to see Shammas and Lohan finally tie the knot, after years of dating!

In the spring of 2020, Lohan‘s mother, Diana, spoke to Us Weekly about a wide range of topics. During the interview, Diana said her daughter had finally started dating someone she approved of. “Lindsay is dating a wonderful guy right now,” she said. “But that’s neither here nor there. When she’s ready to talk about her personal life, [she will].”
For longtime Lohan fans, you will know this is Lohan’s second engagement. Back in 2015, she became engaged to Russian millionaire Egor Tarabasov, after dating for less than a year. However, it didn’t happen. The two split before their marriage, in 2016.
Meanwhile, Lohan is in the middle of a massive comeback right now. Not only will she appear in a currently untitled Netflix romantic-comedy, but also, as stated, she might appear in the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Dubai. Between a wedding, a movie, and a television show, the star is certainly showing the world that she’s ready to come back to Hollywood. On her own terms, this time around, of course!
