From friends to lovers, Zendaya and Tom Holland know just how to keep their fans sitting on the edge of their seats. During an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan on Friday, February 18, the Uncharted star said he gets a kick out of hearing some of the more “outrageous” rumours about himself. The most recent story resulted in many congratulatory calls that Holland had to awkwardly reject. Fans had been speculating that Zendaya and Holland had decided to take their relationship to the next level and buy a house together; in response to those rumours Tom laughed and called it an imaginary house.

Holland and Zendaya relationship timeline 

 Last year, pictures of Tom Holland, 25, and Zendaya, 25, kissing last year confirmed their romantic relationship after years of insisting they were simply best friends. The pair met on the set of the Spiderman movie, “Spider-Man: Homecoming” in 2016. They shared great chemistry on screen and were soon surrounded by rumours of their romance as the two built their acting and modelling careers for the next few years.

In 2017, Zendaya was caught in “The Greatest Showman” and starred in more seasons of Disney Channel’s “K.C. Undercover” before it ended in 2018; front a global campaign; Lancome’s Idole, fragrance and beauty line, and started to align herself with the popular HBO series “Euphoria.” Tom Holland was hard at work carrying on his Spider-Man role in “Avengers: Infinity War” in 2018, “Avengers: Endgame” in 2019.

The future couple worked together again for “Spider-Man: Far From Home” in 2019. Before working together again for their third “Spider-Man” hit, Holland voiced for Disney’s “Onward” in 2020, while Zendaya worked on “Malcolm & Marie” and voiced for Lola Bunny in “Space Jam: A  New Legacy.” 

Throughout their career, the two actors were ambitious and challenged each other while making the most of the situation, especially cracking jokes and cheering ‌everyone around them. The pair share a great sense of humour and love cracking jokes around each other. They shared this sense of humour in tackling ‌dating rumours. For instance, Zendaya took it to her Twitter and addressed the vacation suspicion by saying she hadn’t had the time for that in years, and Tom Holland responded, asking if the press tour counted as a vacation.

By 2018 Holland posted his first Instagram post of Zendaya attending the Met Gala however at the time  Zendaya and her co-star in Euphoria, Jacob Elordi, were spotted together on vacation in Greece. Paparazzi caught the pair having intimate moments; however, they never actually confirmed that they were dating; meanwhile, Holland was linked to Bolton from 2019 until they split in April 2020.

Holland and Zendaya kept a low profile while they filmed their second Spider-Man movie throughout Europe until early 2021, when they were spotted sharing a kiss in a car in Los Angeles and the pictures started trending all over social media. The same day, they were spotted in the Silver Lake neighborhood with Zendaya’s mom, Claire Stoermer. In numerous interviews, Zendaya opened up about feeling “robbed” of her privacy, which was one of the downsides of being in the spotlight. Since then, the couple has kept their relationship private but can be caught on the red carpet, doing Marvel interviews and attending dinners in coordinating elegant dinner outfits. Another recent image showed the duo matching jerseys during a New York ice hockey game with each other’s name and birth year, 1995.
