Of course, nearly everyone knows actor Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise. However, until now, few know that he also voiced plenty of other characters. In fact, he says he has appeared in every single Star Wars film since 2015. That’s right!

Millions of people worldwide are Star Wars fans. Just take a look at all the movies, TV shows, and toy show just how big the franchise has grown. However, even some of the most die-hard Star Wars fans didn’t know that the man behind Luke Skywalker has secretly cameoed in every Star Wars movie and TV show since 2015. Just a few days ago, the Star Wars Wiki, Wookieepedia, tweeted that actor Mark Hamill, best known as Skywalker, revealed that he provided the voice of bartender droid EV-9D9 on the hit show The Mandalorian. In response to that tweet, Hamill responded that he voiced “multiple secret voice cameos in every Star Wars movie released since 2015.”
Of course, that set Star Wars fans off on a mission: find all the characters voiced by Hamill. Now, they have a pretty good list! While most knew he had voiced Darth Bane in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars show, few knew he also voiced the alien character Boolio, an Ovissian miner who supports the Resistance, in The Rise of Skywalker. You can also hear Mark Hamill in The Last Jedi as Dobbu Scay (seen above), a drunk gambler on the casino planet of Canto Bight. Still, fans have not pinpointed out who the actor voiced in the films Solo and Rogue One.
Believe it or not, this is far from the first time Disney, which owns Lucasfilm, has done something like this with an actor…

Why does Hamill keep cameoing? Well, one, he’s also a voice actor who loves the job! “I love voice-over animation because people can’t see you. You make these choices that you would never do if you were doing a live-action role,” Hamill said a few years ago. Two, he simply loves Star Wars. “It was never about billing,” the actor tweeted after his cameos were revealed. “It was for the fun & the fans & because I [love] #EasterEggs.” What a great reason!
Surprisingly, this is not the first time that Disney has done this. The studio has given cameos to many of its favored actors. Over the years, they have picked a few lucky voice actors and put them into multiple movies. For those who don’t know, actor Alan Tudyk has voiced a character in every Disney Animation movie, while John Ratzenberger has popped up in every Pixar film. So far, Hamill has only appeared in every Star Wars flick, time will tell if he appears in other Lucasfilm properties, like Indiana Jones. We certainly hope so!
