For those who don’t know, Peppa Pig is a British-American television show aimed at preschoolers. The show follows Peppa, an anthropomorphic female pig based on a character from the ’60s, and her family and friends. The current version of the show began in 2004, and it recently started its seventh season. That’s not a surprise, of course, as the series has become a massive hit, airing in over 180 countries. The new theme park will feature rides, shows, interactive attractions, and water play zones, all based on Peppa and her gang!

So far, Legoland has only released a few details about the new park, but it already sounds fantastic! For instance, one of the new rides will be Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster, “where ‘brave little piggies’ will go on a ‘short cut’ with Daddy Pig in his recognizable red car.” Meanwhile, on Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride, the character Miss Rabbit will take children high into the air! Legoland also announced a host of other rides: Granddad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride, Mr. Bull’s High Striker, and Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure.

The park will also feature a treehouse kids can explore and the “Fun Fair,” a series of free carnival rides. But that’s not all…

Of course, what theme park would be complete without the chance to meet your favorite characters? Thankfully, kids can meet and interact with Peppa and the rest of her family throughout the park. Meanwhile, in Mr. Potato’s Showtime Arena, a variety of live shows will take place. Since there are different shows throughout the day, families can return to the theater multiple times, always seeing something new. As such, it makes an excellent place for families to take a break and rest – or even nap! After all, the Peppa Pig Theme Park is aimed at preschoolers and their families, just like the show. This is all thanks to Legoland’s exclusive licensing agreement with the company Hasbro, which owns Peppa Pig.

Does this sound like something you and your family would be interested in? Well, the Peppa Pig Theme Park will open next door to Legoland Florida, located in Winter Haven, just outside of Orlando. If you’ve never been, Legoland Florida has not only its main park, but also a water park. However, the Peppa Pig Theme Park will require a separate ticket. However, Legoland’s annual passes will cover the new theme park.
