Curb Your Enthusiasm Returning For Season 11

HBO
That’s right! The beloved HBO comedy, which stars Seinfeld co-creator, Larry David, as a fictionalized version of himself, a curmudgeon who is certainly not afraid to speak his mind, will return this October! For those who don’t watch, the critics loved the 10th season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, which ended all the way back in March, 2020. However, fans are used to the long wait between seasons: the eighth ended in 2011, while the ninth wrapped up in 2017.
And yes, according to showrunner Jeff Schaffer, who also helmed The League, the new show will address the coronavirus pandemic. “We figured out a way that we are definitely living in a reality where the pandemic has happened, and we’re addressing the pandemic, and we’re doing stories about it, but not exactly the way you’d expect,” Schaffer said. We’re excited to see this new take!
Sadly for fans, this might be one of the last seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm…
Is The Show Nearing The End?

HBO
Actor Jeff Garlin, who portrays David’s best friend and manager Jeff on Curb Your Enthusiasm, opened up about the struggles to continue to make the show. He said that David would most likely end the show soon. After all, he turned 74 this year!
“We could maybe do one more [season], maybe,” Garlin said. “You know, Larry is in his 70s. Don’t get me wrong, he’s in good shape.” Unfortunately, even Garlin is finding it hard to catch his breath at 59 years old, saying that two shows are exhausting him to the point of no return. “It rips me apart. And the equivalent happens to Larry, ’cause he’s in every scene, working every day, having to be there at 6:30 in the morning. I don’t know if physically he can do more than, let’s say, another season. I think he could do another. I don’t know if he has two in him.”
Well, that’s certainly not the news that fans wanted to hear! However, after all the laughs David has provided them through both Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm, he has undoubtedly earned a fantastic retirement. We wish him all the best!
