While they may no longer be a part of the Royal Family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry remain two of the most famous people on Earth. So it should come as no surprise that no only did their recent post about the birthday of their two-year-old Archie go viral, but many around the world wanted to celebrate alongside them! See how everyone, including the remaining British Royal Family members, reacted…
Meghan Markle And Prince Harry’s Post
Since leaving the British Royal Family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have lived a more private life. Sure, they are still in the spotlight, but not nearly as much as they once were. So, when the couple shared a picture of their son, Archie, on his second birthday, their fans went wild. They shared a picture of the boy, back turned to the camera, chasing after birthday balloons. Even from this angle, it’s easy to see that Archie has grown a full head of hair – he certainly takes after his mother in that department!
For many, the filtered picture became a clear representation of how well things are going for the young family. After the infamous Oprah interview, many hoped that the couple could find some joy and safety States-side. Thankfully, an insider recently revealed to People Magazine that they have been loving their life living in Montecito, California. There, Harry is trying to grant the boy with him “the childhood he always wanted.”
Along with the picture, Markle and Harry left a beautiful message for their fans and followers…
Donating For Archie’s Birthday
It seems that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were not the only ones who wanted to celebrate Archie’s second birthday1 “We have been deeply touched over the past two years to feel the warmth and support for our family in honor of Archie’s birthday,” the couple wrote in their Instagram message. “Many of you donate to charities on his behalf, and mark the occasion by giving back or doing an act of service—all through the goodness of your hearts. You raise funds for those who need it most, and continue to do so organically and selflessly. We remain incredibly grateful.”
Most notable, the former Duke and Duchess of Sussex asked those that wanted to donate, to donate money to services that help those who cannot become vaccinated. “We will not be able to truly recover until everyone, everywhere, has equal access to the vaccine,” they said. “We cannot think of a more resonant way to honor our son’s birthday,” the statement read. “If we all show up, with compassion for those we both know and don’t know, we can have a profound impact. Even a small contribution can have a ripple effect. Together, we can uplift, protect, and care for one another.”
And it was far from the first time Markle and Harry and stated the importance of the coronavirus vaccine!
Importance Of Vaccination
Since the creation of the vaccine, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have worked hard to hammer home the importance of vaccination. As stated, this is far from the first time the two have worked to help others become vaccinated. They also took part in the Global Citizen’s VAX Live: The Concert to Reunite the World. Markle and Harry both spoke, alongside performances by the likes of the Foo Fighters and Jennifer Lopez.
Of course, as you might suspect, almost all the other members of the British Royal Family also congratulated Archie on social media. Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William, and Kate Middleton all posted for Archie’s second birthday.
