No questions asked, this has to be the funniest product review on the internet. After falling down a mountain – and thankfully coming up fine – a woman wrote a now-viral Amazon review of her purple leggings. Read on to find out what she had to say about her new favorite pair of leggings…
The Best Leggings For Mountain Climbing
It takes a fearless person to post photos of themselves falling down rock slope – and Cory H. is one of the few! After taking quite the tumble down a small mountain, however, the woman simply could not believe that her new, “non see-through and four-way stretch” leggings from Raypose did not have one single hole in them after the incident. So, Cory felt the need to head to Amazon and let everyone know. The woman even included photos of her trip down the rocks to prove just how strong the leggings are.
“Can I just say that I will be reordering them in every color,” Cory wrote in her Amazon review, which over 18,000 shoppers, as of this writing, have marked helpful. “Here is me rolling and sliding down a mountain because I was too scared to get up. My leggings did not rip not even a little bit and I got stuck on rocks and trees.” Thankfully, despite the tumble, Cory only received a few cuts and bumps – perhaps mainly in thanks to the $13.99 leggings!
Of course, as you might imagine, after posting it to Amazon, people started to notice Cory’s review. Now, the review has become a viral meme that everyone loves sharing!
Going Viral
Believe it or not, while Cory posted the review on Amazon back in July 2020, it only recently went super viral. The reason? Well, someone recently uploaded a photo of the review to Twitter last Sunday. Over the weekend, the photo racked up more than 400,000 likes and 10,000 retweets, as of this writing. And now, people can’t stop thinking about it!
“I think about this twice per week,” Twitter user @emmycantread wrote while retweeting the photo. Another called people who upload images to Amazon reviews “the backbone of society.” We could not agree more! After all, pictures let you see how products actually work and how clothes actually fit.
Meanwhile, others wanted to make sure that Raypose truly appreciated the marketing work Cory did for them. Almost 19,000 users found her review helpful, with countless social media users praising her for her authenticity. “I really hope the company gave her free leggings for life for that kind of solid endorsement,” tweeted one fan of the review. “How can you not be sold when you read that?” Still, other fans could not help but turn the review into a meme, recreating the now-iconic scene in their own purple leggings.
Whatever you think of the review and its fans, Cory has undoubtedly helped all those who want a new pair of leggings for the new year!
